“InPass” has been together with the Liepaja INK from the very beginning. “When I found out about the creation of the incubator, I immediately wanted to join. When I created my company for Internet of Things technologies, I understood that this is the right time to get involved,” remembers “InPass” director Raivis Ekšteins. Previously he had already gained experience in automated process system creation – together with his classmate, at work they had created a printing equipment monitoring system that can automatically process orders. “We work together with large manufacturers. I saw their problems and understood that we can offer them solutions,” remembers Raivis. Currently an “InPass” solution is used for monitoring climate indoors – and the other ensures electronic work time monitoring, while simultaneously developing technologies for measuring the effectivity of manufacturing equipment.
Our most interesting experience at INK has been witnessing how other companies work, organize their tasks, and deal with a variety of entrepreneurial challenges. “I value the community, the financial support, as well as the opportunity to make use of the co-working and meeting rooms so that we don’t have to meet with potential clients in cafes. Since we can also use the spaces in different places around Latvia, now I’m planning on working a few days outside of Riga,” Raivis describes some benefits. He is open to using the opportunities provided by INK for all four years, which is also the maximum timeframe available to implement the defined goals of the business.
I have become socially responsible.
I think about what my contribution to society is more often.
The incubator has encouraged me to consider the opportunities where I can help other companies.
